Buy new case or mod old

Hey guys I just got some parts from kabum (practically the brazilian NCIX) and I need a case, but stuff in Brazil is vary expensive (example the corsair carbide spec is R$311, I'm not transforming it in dollars because the value of the US$ is always changing) so anyway, I have a old case laying around so I went started moding is, but I don't know if its better to buy a new one or go on with the project.

depends, is modding it going to cost you a fair bit? if not, then continue doing it and when its done, see if you still want it or not
