Is it safe to vacuum my pc parts. Just wondering. I have compressed air but I feel like a vacuum would just be faster.

It's safe if you do it carefully, but not very effective, unless you have huge chunks of dust. Compressed air is definitely better.

Never do it its really bad for your computer.

the lack of details on your procedure could've destroy someone's hardware. do as you please, I rather play safe and use compressed air. sue me.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

i'm sorry you feel that , i have been doing it since ever, and i have done it for all my 4 Builds over past 7 years, i still do them every 4 months , they all were perfectly fine , we don't use carpets here , all the statics gets discharged as your feet is constantly on ground

So, general wisdom is "No, do not use a vacuum your computer. The potential for static to build up on the nozzle of the vacuum is too great and could fry components". However, there are vacuums designed FOR this job. I have one at my workplace called DATAVAC (clever people). The manufacturer claims it doesn't build up static. So yes and no all at once.
