Onboard is just fine.

I'd probably go Siberia v3 or HyperX cloud instead.

so the hyperx cloud is stereo or surround or what

??

HyperX, if I recall, is 5.1. To be honest, the only way to achieve "true" surround sound to my knowledge is a 7.1 surround speaker setup. However, in terms of a gaming headset, the HyperX is alright

However, if I am honest, you will want an AntLion modmic, lapel microphone or a desktop mic combined with some nice, cheap headphones. The Takstar Hifi 2050 on amazon gets a lot of praise, have comfortable ear-pads, and overall, it's pretty good. I personally own the Sony ECMCS3 on amazon and its amazing for a lapel microphone. However, its your money. I am only giving you my personal opinion. Do what you want to do.

Every headphone is *in reality* stereo, even the ones that claim to have multiple drivers per ear. The Cloud is enough for positioning if you use in-game headphone mode, surround software or a sound card solution.
