SLI or new card?

NoobieKnight

Hi! I am soon gonna upgrade my computer but I don't know if I should buy one more GTX 760 (4 GB) and put them in SLI or if I should get a new better graphics card. (GTX 760 about 240 US $ in Sweden)

I really appreciates your help, thanks.

Get a new card because 2 GB of VRAM is not enough nowadays.

I know 960 fanboys will disagree but any sane person has concluded that.

Get a r9 290.

What this guy said. Or even 970 if you have the money for it

Spoiler

He just said that he has the 4GB card. Not the 2GB card.

I'd get a second 4GB 760. They're not bad cards.

How much is a:

  1. R9 290
  2. Gtx 970
  3. R9 290x

Depending on prices, it might be a better deal to get one of those. If you can wait (and I think you can, the 760 is a very capable card), AMD is releasing new stuff in Q2 this year.

Just get 1 new strong card, because running in SLI means more power needed and more heat output.
