I was wondering what the file size for windows 8.1 64bit is?

ISO is 4.2 gigs, installed system is roughly 12. YMMV

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

so a 32GB ssd should be enough 

32GB SSD is roughly 29GBs formatted. Windows by itself takes up 17-20GB of storage. Leaving you with only 9-12GB of storage for everything else. Not to mention SSDs performance are considerably slower when they're near max capacity. So no. I would not recommend a 32GB SSD drive for OS. Unless all you're going to do is browse the net and stream videos.
