Hi, 

 

Will this setup work:

The goal here is to have multiple HDMI AV inputs that I can switch between and have the Audio of those HDMI inputs go to the Sennheiser via component out and output the video to the TV via HDMI out.

 

 

I have heard of troubles with chromecast + receiver hence is why im asking it here.

I have heard stories of the chromecast not working properly with AV receivers saying that the AV receiver needs to support a specific thing.

No reason I can think of for it to not work. The chromecast should just output hdmi right?

yes it should but ive heard of people having problems with the CC AVR combo so i thought i would as here first :)
