A Curious Question

Hi guys,

Okay, I'll get straight to it. Given the recent news about the GTX 970's memory issue and that my use is video editing, do you think that a GTX 970 would use more than 3.5GB of vRAM with a 3x 27" 1440p display setup?

BTW, I just noticed that you should be able to add a custom member title now because you've done 500+ posts.

sorry i missed the x3. TBH it depends on the program you use and what resolution you are rendering at and if you are using the gpus to acccelerate the process.

 

3.5GB should be enough but your only real alternative is getting a 6GB or 8GB card at the moment. 500MB wont make a whole lot of difference
