GPU overclocking is dependent on the GPU (and psu), and has nothing to do with the motherboard.

Yes you can overclock the gpu on h97 but not the cpu

You can overclock the CPU on Asus H97 boards with a BIOS update though. 

 

Like others have said, it depends on the GPU rather than the motherboard.
