Why in God's name would anyone buy a GTX 970 right now?  Get with what is going on out there.  There is a problem with the card using all of it's video memory.  Do not buy this right now.  This is coming from the Nvidia PhysX guy of all things.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I would get a nice air cooler like the hyper 212 instead of a 120mm rad. I have two 120mm rads in two different computers and they don't cool any better and aren't quieter than a nice air cooler.

Yes, but you don't really want to go with the GTX 970 at the moment. Replace that with a R9 290 and you can get a non-SLI motherboard (if it still supports CF) and be fine.

Why you so scared?  So Nvidia gimped the memory on the 970 and segmented 1/2 a GB.  You still have a very usable 3.5 GB.
