I'm thinking about water cooling my PC since it will be in a space where not a lot of air will be able to get to it. But anyway, aside from that, who can improve this build for me? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/r4TxNG

I'd say 2x970 over the 980, but then I'd say 2x290/290x over the 980 because of the problems with the 970 that have risen recently.

 

And with air flow: don't try water cooling more than CPU, just try to find some way to improve air flow - more fans overall?

I'd say 2x970 over the 980, but then I'd say 2x290/290x over the 980 because of the problems with the 970 that have risen recently.

I don't think 290's are as good as 980's are.

I don't think 290's are as good as 980's are.

yes but i dont want to add another 1000dollars to the build and he originally had 1 980 and two r9290s are far superiour to one 980

Ok.

I'd suggest a stronger, more reputable PSU and with @ParticleAccaleration a better SSD.

Antec makes great psus. Concur with weird choice on the ssd.

I'm partial to crucial, but a 240gb Adata should do just peachy.  120gb SSDs are always cut off at the knees resulting in poor performance because they have fewer physical NAND chips that the controller can write to.  240gb drives don't have this problem because they have more physical places for the controller to write to.

About how much fps do you think I would get with this build on an indie game like The Forest and triple a titles like Far Cry 4? Also, how much could I overclock the cpu?

Probly 4.5ghz ish, no idea on the fps tho
