Evil Within or Resident Evil HD?

Go to solution Solved by EarthboundHero,

Yeah. That's the big question though. Updated gfx engine or not, I don't miss the classic controls. Could just get them both if RE HD stays at 20 for another week (it's not on sale like TEW is)

REHD is always $20. So get TEW.

Edit: Trigger Pulled. Got Evil Within. Thanks, guys, for all the answers. :)

PC Gamers, quick question:

Debating The Evil Within or Resident Evil HD Remastered on steam. Both $20 each. Was wondering how the control design was on RE and if they've patched the problems in TEW. Thanks for all the replies in advance.

I'd say REHD, but it's up to opinion.

Played them both. I prefer resident evil as it's that classic horror game with no hand holding. But they are both great games.

Does it use classic RE controls or is it more like RE4/5?

From what I've heard they have the original scheme, and an updated one. Not sure how the new one works though.

Heh if you wanna talk great classics I'd pick 2 or 3 as 1 was too cheesy. re1 was the first game to truly jump-scare me, though. Damn dogs in the side hallway.
