Velour Earpads comfort?

I bought an ATH m40x a few weeks ago and its great except for one big problem.. if i wear it for 30min+ my jaw starts to feel locked and really tight..

do velour pads feel less tight than leather earpads or is it no different? (headset cause tightness not the earpads)

i ask this because i have razer megalodon with velour earpads and i don't have this problem with it

Stretch them, keep them stretched over a box or cushion overnight.

Audio Technica's earpads do tend to become "hard" feeling if you don't wipe the sweat off of them once in a while.

But I think it's best to let the head band break in a but more before you start purchasing aftermarket stuff.
