So i'm building my first PC with some friends and i got the whole building concept but i'm just confused on the first boot up as in what i do when i get to the bios screen. I've seen Linus just punch in a number and change something to XML but that's about it, so any if guys know how to explain how it works please feel free to elaborate. :P

Honestly, if you don't know then don't mess. There's nothing in there that will kill a PC per se but there are things which might prevent your PC from booting or even posting altogether.

The factory default settings are fine for most people so I'd suggest you leave it be and spend some time navigating around looking through various options, most are self explanatory but some are pretty advanced.

All you really need to do is, make sure the drive is set to ACHI and your RAM is on the XMP profile at it's correct setting.

Yeah, these are 2 pretty vital changes.
