With Alienware laptops is there a way to have the lighting turn off after some amount of time like you can with the screen?

Desktop: CPU: I7-5820K GPU: 980Ti, 750Ti PhysX Mobo: MSI X99A SLI PLUS RAM: 4x4 Kingston DDR4 2400MHz OS: Win10
Storage: 250GB Samsung Evo, 3TB WD Black and Green FIRESTRIKE, Reason for dedicated PhysX Card.

Peripherals: Screen: 3x BenQ VZ2350 Mouse: Razer Naga Keyboard: Some Dell Thing Sound: Razer Tiamat, 5.1 Logitech Surround Speakers

You should ask the people at Alienwarearena.com if someone here can't answer you, which is likely since almost the entire forum is so adamant about their hate toward Alienware that they have to make comments about it every time the name is mentioned.

Hahaha was going to but there support office closed 20mins ago :P And i got the laptop as a loan from my college unitll i pass then the laptop is mine and i plan to sell it then any way :D

I meant their forum. There's a bunch of people who post there regularly who own Alienware PC's there and could help you.

not using the built in software on my m18x, but you can turn it on/off with a single button press

 

honestly the lighting uses barely any battery

its more for when i leave it on over night and yeah just found the button for it :D
