Wait a second... You need headphones and a desktop mic? You need a headset and a desktop mic? You need just a headset? 

I am confused. 

Anyway...

I personally prefer the Audio Technica microphone, but the blue yeti is also nice. 

Since you mention a headset to use with your phone, do you need On-ear headphones or over ear?  You should check the V-Moda M-80. They're on "sale" at 90$ on amazon.

Ok... Check the Creative Aurvana Live 2! However if you want something better get the Sennheiser Momentum Over-Ear. They're excellent headphones. 

Another option is the V-Moda Crossfade LP, but other than these headphones, i don't know any other good headset. 

Oh Focal Spirit One, is another great option, but a little pricey as well.
