Hey All, I was hoping that someone on here might have experience/ advice with the R5 and the moduvent system.

I currently have an R4 (its very beat up), and I have a top mounted H100i to cool my cpu. I noticed on the R4, that removing the top sound dampening really increased the noise. Given that my new 970 has a bit of coil whine, I definetly want to quiet it down. In the R4, front mounting Rads was a pain, but i know the R5 has largely fixed this problem.

My questions is, if I front mount the H100i in an R5 with SP 120s in push/pull, and have a rear exhaust 140 fan, whether that would be enough airflow to keep the vents on the top of the R5.  In the alternative, if the clearence is there, would a bottom mounted 120 intake be enough? I also assume this would help a lot with dust because the only intakes would be filtered

I would definitely swap out the SP120s, they're pretty loud.

NB BlackSilent Pros are quiet and good all-round. Gentle Typhoons are very good, but expensive and hard to find.

Rosewill Hyperboreas are quiet, and have pretty good static pressure, and are cheap at just 10 or 12 USD

Alright Awesome, looks like I am stopping at microcenter on the way home.

I think I will take a look at them, the SP120s I currently have are fine when I keep them at a low RPM, but defintly get noticably noiser at higher RPMs. Thanks
