So i'm having my birthday soon and i've wanted to build a pc for a while now. I built 2 of em with a friend of mine so i have some experience already. My plan was to ask a pc from my parents, without a gpu, and then buying a gtx970 from the money i have and will get from friends and family. So I was wondering what to ask my parents.

I'd like to use a Phanteks enthoo pro, 840evo 120gb, 1tb wd green, 8gb corsair memory, noctua nh-u12s and bequiet straight power 10 600w. But im not certain about  cpu-mobo combo. What should i ask them (€700 or so)

you don't seem that fortunate i think the Phanteks enthoo pro which is a full tower case aimed for enthousiats and water cooling junkie is not really a good case for your first computer son...i'm pretty sure that money could be better spent somewhere else in the system...i think for the CPU you should go with either an i5-4460 or i5-4590 and a cheap H97 motherboard or an i5-4690K and a Z97 motherboard that supports SLI in case you need it.

| CPU: Core i7-8700K @ 4.89ghz - 1.21v  Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 |
| GPU: MSI RTX 3080Ti Ventus 3X OC  RAM: 32GB T-Force Delta RGB 3066mhz |
| Displays: Acer Predator XB270HU 1440p Gsync 144hz IPS Gaming monitor | Oculus Quest 3 VR
