My Possible New PC

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

PS: i didn't say the best. Just something powerful maybe this will help, My current rig is a 4930k, 32Gb, 780Ti. i know that's not the full specs but that's just an idea.

Anyway please just give me some builds guys go nuts and we'll see what we come up with in the end.

you have a decent OP rig here

i say just drop more GPUs like three GTX980s to replace your 780Ti and you can go for 4K or 3x1440P monitors

Hey Guys I'm Max and as of right now i might be moving to the US in 8 months i should get confirmation by the end of march but anyway i currently live in the UK and i won't be able to take any of my stuff with me (i don't want to get into why) Anyway I don't really need that much advice but I love the LTT community and whilst i rarely uses the forums i love them :D, so i'd appreciate anyone with some experience giving some suggestions for a whole new build.

Budget: $8500

Aim: I probably won't use everything it's capable of if i'm honest but i want a very powerful PC to do some CAD work (currently studying product design :D ) , gaming and the general stuff.

Monitors: well after using my dads new 5k imac (i'm sorry master race please forgive me) I'm not going to go 4k but i would love either 1440p high hz monitors 2 minimum, or 2 or 3 ROG swifts

Peripherals: unless someone can persuade me otherwise then i'll be getting a new duckyshine 3 maybe a 4 idk, whilst i'm currently using a logitech G600, i don't use the buttons i just a very very large hands i MUST have a large mouse because otherwise my hand just engulfs it and it cause my wrist to hurt (even the G600 is small for me but this was the best i could find at the time), I will be needing a fresh copy of windows 8, Recommendations for a new DAC and headphones are welcome, no soundcards please...

Why?: Because i can't take my current PC with me

PS: My hand span (little finger to thumb) is 25cm this may help with mice

Thanks to anyone who responds :D

8500 Zimbabwe dollars?

In all seriousness

is this USD or Pounds?

so you want to game on triple 1440P G-Sync monitors?

What are the CAD software you exactly use?

"I probably won't use everything it's capable of if i'm honest but i want a very powerful PC"

thats a very contradicting aim

you want the best but you wont use it to its max?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

If you use your head you might realise that he meant $ = US dollar.

if you read my post i was already cringing at his budget and his wasteful ways

plus he just put 8500 like anyone will know the amount right off the bat

of course we have to be sure this is not in USD or British Pounds

Right since someone already made this clear and i agree it's pretty obvious -_- $ = USD, secondly i'm going to be using Autocad, NO i don't want to game in triple gsync 1440p i know that's completely out of reach (for now).

Finally the entire point of this is i want power yes i'm wasteful cringe all you want you can't change that, and i personally enjoy building pc's just as a relaxing thing, i've built many computers for friends, family, random people who wanted me to do so. i didn't actually come here for the the final build i will look at what people post, gather what i like from all of them and then decide for myself.
