that psu should be fine, and the optical drive is only needed if thats how you plan on installing your Operating System.

Anything from Seasonic is a safe bet. Build looks good but why Define R4 and not R5?

And you only need an ODD if you A. Need to install Windows without a flash drive, B. Watch movies and stuff with it, and C. Write stuff to discs a lot. Most people do not use optical disk drives anymore but you may be one of them (I know I am).

Eh, not really. The only decent thing from Corsair is the AX series and you can do better for the money. Cooler Master has an iffy past with PSUs.

Only my personal recommendation though. ASUS makes good stuff. From what I read about that AOC the position the monitor sits in can be quite uncomfortable.
