I'm just curious as I was just thinking about something in one of the threads I posted in a bit earlier... 

 

What would be better for editing purposes (assuming the programs can utilize gpu acceleration).... 

  1. i5-4440 + mid tier gpu (R7 260x - R9 270)
  2. Xeon E31231 V3 + low tier gpu (R7 240 - R7 260) 
  3. i7-4790k (overclocked) + no gpu

#2 Xeon 1231 V3 (or 4 if broadwell version comes out)  and an R7 250  would probably most optimal
