Can't get into bios

When I boot up, there is no splash screen, it gives me a black screen until windows loads up. If I press delete during that time, I get the black screen and Windows doesn't load

Your BIOS might be corrupted. Try resetting it.

Did you enable fast boot?

Anywho if your on 8 or 8.1 then do the following

1. Press the Windows key + C, or swipe in from the right edge of the screen to open your Charms.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click Change PC Settings.

4. Click Update and recovery, then select Recovery.

5. To the right beneath Advanced Startup, click Restart now.

6. Once the boot menu appears, select Troubleshoot.

7. In the Troubleshoot menu, select Advanced options.

8. In the Advanced options menu, click UEFI Firmware Settings.

9. Click Restart. The system will restart and enter UEFI (BIOS).

Else, try replacing the CMOS battery and/or updating it.

I took out the CMOS battery and put it back. That did the trick. Thanks

All these suggestions are great, but a quick work around is also available is your motherboard has a direct key jumper on it. Just short the two pins to boot into the bios.
