Hi!

I have an asus n900 rooter.

when i logged in on the 192.168.2.1 page, it showed up an update request, i pressed OK and while it started downloading the update file I accidentally closed my browser. since then when the rooter is stuck, just the power light turning on and off. I have tried resetting it by pressing the reset button, didn't work.

Contact Asus customer support, there's very little anyone here can do for you.

When you say you pressed the reset button? Is that the little button you get at with a pin or just the restart as in power cycle button?

If it was the latter then you could try the little button if you router has one, If not well... Ignore my post and wait for Asus to get back to you :)

I meant the small reset button not the power button, anyways, asus contact me and here's what they said:

Hello,

You can try a tripple reset, if that doesnt work you can contact your reseller to get a new unit.

A reset is done by,

1. Hold the small button on the back

the router flashes or goes out.

2nd router will now blink, or turn off.

3rd let the router restart.

4. Log into your router by having the

connected with a cable from the router to the computer.

5th you log in, open a web browser

and type 192.168.1.1

6. there you may enter

username and password.

7. username and password is admin, admin.

Once you're inside, you get configurera

router when the router is set up so it should be

function as it should, is it that the

still causes trouble by contacting

dealer and replace it

Best Regards,
