Hey guys, so I picked up payday 2 when it was on sale for like $7.50, and lets just say i've logged quite a few hours (103 to be exact). I mainly just like to take all the bullets and be the tank of the group. My favorite weapon classes are an LMG, I forget what it's called not the rpk tho, and the Street Sweeper Shotgun, or the r39 sniper and a Para Submachine gun. For stealth I like to use my modded car 4 with either a deagle or gruber kurz.

So what's ur guys favorite weapons/ play styles?

I too play a lot of bullet sponge. I spec into Enforcer and Mastermind with a heavier lean on enforcer. However I mainly rely on the locomotive shotgun, and a sniper rifle for my primary, mainly because of the shield piercing aspect. Idk about you but my favorite thing about enforcer is acing Man of Iron and punching shields.

I also love the deagle for stealth, mainly for its usefulness in the shadow raid job.

In all honesty a bought the goty version the other week as i know it's a game i will love. Paid (£25)

Had a few go's and it's tuff. Although it was offline..But i do intend to put some hours into it. I like it when you pull down the mask and get started..then the music kicks in. Just sets the tone..yano

I have three builds (>300h).

 

For stealthable heists, a CAR4 and a Locomotive, both silenced, with a mix of Ghost and Mastermind skills.

To go loud, I either use an almost fully Tech build or a mix of Mastermind and Enforcer, and I either use a CAR4 with a Locomotive or a .50 sniper with a Para12 (all fully modded, excepting the .50). I exceptionally use an LMG (usually the Brenner) for some heists.

Dodge build with Rogue deck, Fugitive/Ghost skills(other than the must-have cable ties and bag carrying skills) work wonders at both stealth and loud in deathwish; the only downside is that it can't open doors with ECM(very useful for farming bank jobs). And the FAMAS sounds like shit; need a sound mod(Which is available).

Properly modded Famas lets you kill bulldozer within 1.8s by dumping a mag into the face on deathwish.

Judge shotgun as sidearm with explosive round + aced Swan Song = 12 seconds of 500rpm explosive rounds...kills everything you can hit.

Those two above can let you maintain 7 concealment, which also means 9% extra dodge and 20(or 27 if aced low blow)% crit chance on Fugitive tree.

Tried techforcer with LMG...too slow to do anything but sit there and shoot stuff; it just means the team is going to be slowed down because one guy couldn't GET TO DA CHOPPA fast enough or haul loot bags as efficiently.
