Currently i have a Pentium G3258 OC'ed to 4.2 GHz. Now thats rather low for the G3258 but its because i just flopped on the lottery (hopefully you know what that means). I am looking for something that has more cores. The G3258 has 2 cores and runs most games just fine at a higher clock speed. Like BF4 and World of Tanks runs beautifully. But i enjoy games that demand a little more and are more CPU intensive. Like Arma 3, and Rome 2 Total War. So im more looking for something with 4 cores and decent clock speed. If i can OC thats a plus but not needed. Just looking for suggestions and advice. Thanks.

i5 4690k all the way for gaming.  It is literally the best if you care about gaming performance.  If you can't afford that, I'd go for the less expensive, but not overclockable i5 4460.

Ill look into the 4690k. My friend has it and he has very good performance. A bit too expensive for me right now. Ill try overclocking a bit more to see if I can get a little more juice out of the CPU then save up for a new CPU. Thanks for the answers.
