I'm buying LED lights for my computer and I'm wondering if this is the right one to get so I can plug them into my computer's power supply. It won't let me post the link but it's on Amazon and the exact name is

SUPERNIGHT 16.4FT SMD 5050 Waterproof 300LEDs RGB Flexible LED Strip Light Lamp Kit + 44Key IR Remote Controller

Don't give suggestions for any other lights. I need to order these right now. If that's not the correct one, suggest one that is the exact same brand and everything.

If you can cut them and the can plug into your powersupply it should good.

That's A LOT of LEDs. I'd say go for it if your case can accommodate 300 LED long strip.

Yeah, none of you answered my question.

Yeah, none of you answered my question.

Yeah, that was rude. chances are if it isn't made from a company that makes PC stuff, without modding. no it wont plug in.

It really wasn't rude, so...

You didn't acknowledge how any of them were attempting to help you. Albeit not on the question you posed.  But they were giving you input, and you just told them they were not useful to you at all, in a way many would consider rude.

I don't even think you read the question.

I don't even think you read the question.

But I did, and I answered the first part of your question. I decided not to take the time to do research for you, because you come off as rude. lol

No, you didn't.

Pretty sure I said "no it won't plug in" answering the question you posed "I'm wondering if this is the right one to get so I can plug them into my computer's power supply"

But why won't it plug in? I've already ordered it.

Do you see a molex or sata plug there? I don't. You'll have to mod your own header, like I said.

I can just get a connector that plugs that into molex. What's the other connector called?

Unless you're willing to cut the wires on the LEDs, cut a Molex-to-whatever adapter, and then wire them together, then no, these LEDs will not work in a computer.

It will require modding there's no adapter that's just going to work, like I already said in my first post. There's a youtube video on how to do it, took me 5 minutes to find it.... do some research before buying products??

Not that hard, cut LED wires, cut molex wire, positive to yellow, negative/ground to black. Only thing is if you have the courage to actually do it.

Is there any risk/danger to it?

Not really. But it's always a better idea to buy a product made for the job rather then DIY unless you actually know what you're doing and know you can do it well. I've done it many times but I always do it properly with soldering and heat shrink. Rather just buy the RGB light set I linked above.

Nope, and to answer your question about the video, no it was not a GeForce garage video.
