So when I turn on my computer, it loads and what not. But when I do something I would normally do like Skype or browse the web, the screen freezes and I can't do anything but manually turning it off. This happens like a few seconds after I start doing whatever. This didnt happen before. It started happeninh about 1 hr ago. I got the drivers from the disks that came with the parts. I built this comp recently but only started using it today because I didn't have any Os on the system.

Its an nvidia driver issue. Use a tool called Display Driver Uninstaller DDU to completely remove the display drivers, then download the latest ones from the nvidia site

@FinestRyeBread. Take out your DIMMs and manually test both in each slot individually.

did you use safe mode?

press f8 after the BIOS screen and select safe mode with networking

it sounds more like a HDD issue

I used to have an AMD-8350 and this exact thing happened.  I was using a Gtx 660 with it.  I can't remember what I did to fix it, but I'm pretty sure that it was something with the RAM.

Main Rig:

i7 4790k @ 4.4GHz w/ H75 Liquid CPU Cooler - Asus Maximus VII Hero - 16GB G.Skill Triedent X 2133MHz RAM - 2x Gtx 660s in SLI - 120GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD NZXT Hue - K70 RGB Keyboard - Corsair Sabre RGB - Windows 8.1 - 2x Asus VN247H-P 1080p Monitors (I'm a sucker for lighting effects)

Server:

FX 8350 @ 4.0GHz w/ stock cooler - 8GB Crucial 1600MHz RAM - AMD Radeon HD 7450 GPU - 300W PSU - 120GB SSD - Windows 7

No. I've had faulty RAM but my system would BSOD when attempting to write data to it. It would POST just fine.

Did you test your RAM. Can't see that you did.

Test your RAM individually in each slot. Use your system like you normally would each time. You could use Memtest86, but that assumes you have fully functional DIMM slots. At any rate, I prefer real world tests anyways.

That's exactly what I did was switch the RAM between slots and use one at a time.  That's how I found out which stick was faulty.  I wish you luck!
