Gtx 750ti Worth it?

DrunkPenguinz

In need of switching out my piece of shit ATI 3600, and I want a GPU that could play most games for under $150. Right now i'm looking at the GTX 750ti: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121855&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

But i'm not sure if this is the best gpu I could get at this price.

That or the R9 270.

Both will do ya good.

Though for the 750 ti, I would go EVGA.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

You can get a AMD R9 270 instead for the same price. Much better card.

Get the Sapphire R9 270 Dual-X w/ Boost http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I0D81OG. The only reason to go with the 750Ti is for the low power benefit or NVIDIA features that you may want like 3D Vision. Overall, the R9 270 is a much better buy since it is a more powerful card with a better price to performance ratio.

Cooler Master HAF XB EVO, ASUS Maximus VII Hero, i7-4790K @ 4.5GHz, Corsair H100i, EVGA GTX 980Ti SC, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2X8GB 1866Mhz CL9, 2X Crucial M500 960GB, EVGA SuperNOVA 1050 GS, ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q w/ nVidia 3D Vision 2

can you make the wait for 950? and reviews/benchmark after its release? from there you can choose 750 or 950..

amd counterparts as the others have said may be better, but power consumption is an issue for me so it's 750 ti for me..
