HTC One Mini2 froze during system update

Hello

 

So, this phone is not even 1 week old and during a system update it just froze on the "start" screen with the htc one logo. There's nothing happening, except the screen is on constantly. No reaction from any buttons either.

 

Gah this is so frustrating

have you tried force rebooting it? if im not mistaken its holdind down the volume down/up (im not sure which) and power button for 3 seconds,

Did not work either, but I have sent it back to the store where i bought it. I tried the "recovery" option too but without luck.
