What do you guys think of my build?

Can it run Skyrim at the maximum settings?

Should I get 2x 120mm fans to be installed into my casing?

Will it be worth my money to upgrade the core to either i5 4460, 4590 or 4690?

This is a pretty decent build, except for the processor.

I really don't like the fact this is a dual core with hyper threading.  Honestly, I'd prefer you spent a BIT more and got a low end i5, for those 4 physical cores, especially for productivity, pro apps etc.

The PSU.. the PSU.  What to do about the PSU (solid rhyme 10/10 ign).  I'd say based on how bloody expensive these are on Newegg and how the PCMR list doesn't really like them, and I've never heard of them get another PSU.  Look at NZXT, Corsair, XFX, Silverstone etc.

Can it run skyrim on max?  At 1080p, I think so, maybe reduced AA and textures.  With mods, god knows.

Should you get 2 120 mm fans?  For the front, I would recomend it.  But.. this case... errr.. I dunno.  Maybe look into the similarly priced Fractal Core series or Corsair 200 series for better air flow.

Snipper

The 750ti won't run Skyrim on maximum settings it get's around 46-60, depending the area, you could probably turn down AA etc for 60FPS.

Looks good anyway, I would probably get a WD green, but that's just me.

Skyrim Max? your gpu has 2GB of vram!

u need 4GB+ see 6 to max skyrim textures.

I must beg to differ, my 770 only has 2GB and it slays skyrim perfectly fine.

A 750ti would be fine.

it's once he starts modding the shit out of it he'll have issues.

i thought the motherboard "Supports New 4th and 4th Generation Intel® Core™"

It does support Haswell Refresh cpu. However, BIOS changes were needed to provide that support - true for all 8x chipset motherboards. Some manufacturers include BIOS updates in their manufacturing process. So newer production ships with the update in place. This is not a universal practice and old stock also has to be taken into account. When buying an 8x motherboard to pair with a Haswell Refresh cpu the only safe assumption is that a BIOS update will be required.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
