Saints row 4 DS4Windows inverted controller input

Hey guys

I'm having a really weird problem when I'm using DS4Windows to get my dualshock 4 controller to map as xinput. All controls work fine except left analogue stick up and down for walking, those are inverted ingame and can't be rebound, however the controls are not inverted in any other game.

I triple checked and rebound the input scheme of ds4windows and it always works and rebinds in all games except saints row. it doesn't seem to want to use the profile i selected. I'm getting really frustrated as I don't want to play this with keyboard and mouse because it's just not possible the way my lazy gaming setup is made.

It's the saints row 4 ultimate edition

Check the game to make sure there are no inversions enabled. Make sure it's not inverted for mouse and keyboard first.

There is no option for inverting walking direction. only for camera
