I posted last night about OCing my 4690k and came up with a final solution of 4.5 at 1.25V(adaptive mode with turbo volts on 1.25 and offset at auto) (tested with cinebench R15 too). Last night it was working fine with no freezes or BSOD. But suddenly, this morning, this whea_uncorrectable_error keeps popping up.. can anyone help me on this?

Try setting the voltage to 1.26V and see if it repeats. Otherwise you could try disabling the lower C-states

could you explain what c-states are?

could you explain what c-states are?

C-states = State of very low voltage/clock speed/power draw to save power and reduce heat output. Sometimes this can cause the voltage to go too low for the CPU and then it fails (It has happened quite a few times).

i cant seem to find the c-state option on the asus bios.. is it named something else other than c-state?

Might be called speedstep but it should be called C-states
