*PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST A NEW BUILD. I ALREADY HAVE THESE PARTS*

I just bought some parts to upgrade MY OLD BULD. It was as follows:

I had originally planned on buying an i5 4440 and R9 280, but I got a suggestion from a forum member and some of my friend that I should just keep the FX 4130 and MoBo until I upgrade in a little while. I currently have 95 bucks left.

Here is my current build, with the parts that I just ordered:

How bad is the bottle neck? And what should I do with the extra 105? Should I save it for next year when Broadwell becomes cheap? Or spend it right now?

Intel prices will always stay the same. Please dont wait for price drops at intels side.

Also, not much you can do with 100 bucks except buying a fx-8350 on sale.

If you can get a fx8350 it will improve your performance alot.

Tell me the application, I can tell how hard the "bottleneck" is. For instance, I'm using an A6-3500 APU with a gtx 970. I can max out settings in Crysis 2 and have stunning visuals at 60 FPS; yet, I couldn't even play Tomb Raider above 30. So.... yeah.

Also, save your money. 105$ is too little right now.

OC it as much as you can.

You will suffer some cpu bottleneck in some games but i woundlt call it "extreme"

Note that that cpu is better than the athlon.

I dont think their will be a bottle neck because the fx uses amd latest architecture, Witch I would assume would be equivalent to one of their newest gpus
