In a complete turn around to the usual I want to remove an SSD from a system . Is there any (easy) way to clone the OS from an SSD to an HDD or do I have to do the full reinstall windows to the HDD thing.

Every time I google for SSD removal I get lots of ways to install an SSD to a system and clone the hard drive to it, but I want to do the exact opposite.

Basically I am donating this system to my son but I want to use the SSD in my own system and as this has the OS on it I want to clone it to the HDD before I remove it.

If I can't clone the drive shall just have to reinstall the OS on the HDD (which has a system image on it if this helps), then install all the updates update the drivers install required software etc :lots of work but needs must...
