Windows 7 share bulls***

So, I have this problem. In my workplace is this one pc with win7, that is used as file storage server. But theres this one frustrating thing about it - from time to time this pc lags out and denies all access from other pc's with windows xp. Pc's with newer os's can access this "server", just xp machines are denied the privillege. One thing that fixes this problem is restart, after that everything goes smooth for some time. I'm kinda sick of restarting damn thing, so - time for the question. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? How to fix this? Does anyone have similar experience to share?

 

 

Restaring damn thing would not be that painful, but everytime i do that i need to tell everyone to disconnect from "server", or else it may result in interrupted session and data corruption or loss.
