Any DMV help?

Hey guys, so i just scheduled my appointment to take my final driving lesson and then the next week i will take my driving test behind the wheel. When i go to the DMV, do i take the written test and then do the behind the wheel test at the same time? or how does that work, sorry if its a stupid question, i just couldn't get any verification online. I live in USA. When I took my test, it was just the driving portion. I took the written portion to get my permit.

in canada, you take a written test, then scheduel another date to take the driving test (actual driving one) 

at least in Québec.

Ah I see. I probably can't help you because I'm Canadian, but up here you take the written test for your G1 (learner's permit) and then it's just a road test for your G2 (sort of full license)

you don't have to take a second written (computer) test befor the driving one in ontario ? well. thats just a bunch of bull

Nope you just schedule a test and then go drive

Hi Tie, when I took my driving test in Colorado I had to take a written test(it was very short with simple questions) and a driven test. They were both on the same day and at the same time, so I only had to schedule once. It could be different where you live.
