pri ter wont install drivers

i formatted my pc and now my printer wont work, everytime i go to uodate the driver for it i get "canonmf4400 series doesnt have a driver not fixed X" so i went to the manufacturers site to grt drivers, and installed them that way and they just dont take, it syiil says im missing drivers. any idea on what to do? I need the printer for work

Double check you're using the correct driver? Go find the CD that came with it and install the driver from there?

Well go double check the exact model of your printer and try to find it. Make sure you select the correct version of Windows if that applies too.

Hi,

 

Canon never released drivers for these, so unless you can find 3rd party drivers it won't work under win 7 32 bit or 64 bit.
