Adding the operating system would be a tight squeeze.  Do you think you can salvage a windows key from a previous computer?

But I strongly recommend saving up about $100 more so you can get a much better PC.

I don't need a hard drive so see if it can go anywhere else in the build

If you remove the hard drive and save up a little more money, this build would be a lot more powerful and much more upgradeable:

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($73.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus A78M-E Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard  ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair XMS3 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory  ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R7 260X 1GB Core Edition Video Card  ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $340.82
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
