its already a dual GPU card

and drivers only support up to Quad Fire

it the same with Titan Z

you only can have 2 dual GPU cards

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I was thinkin IF this would BE possible: so 4 dual GPU graphicscards. So 6000$ worth of graphics prosessing power.

Thank You in Advance.

For Crossfire you can only use 2 cards at a time(for a total of 4 GPU's). If you are using them for accelerating programs(like folding), you could use 4 cards together(for a total of 8 GPU's). There might some limitations with your motherboard or with CCC, but theoretically you could use 4 cards as long as they aren't in Crossfire(so it would be a waste if you plan on gaming).

You could have them but not in crossfire, so they can't work on the same task. You could however use a separate GPU to accelerate each application.

How would one do this? Accelerate each application??

Multiple instances of a GPU accelerated API I guess.

It'd be like enabling iGPU multi monitor in the uefi.

Uh.. That's not really useful but okay. The 8 gpus could be used for rendering anything that can use all the cores though.

*Cue Folding machine. Get a dual Xeon Mobo, and use as many risers as you can to slap all dem 295x2 into it.

Well everyone else was saying it wouldn't work as they can't Xfire 8 way so I added that to the discussion :)

Distributed computing (FAH, mining, BONC) etc, computational "grids".

But generally not something one would undertake at home.
