Please help, Internet problem

Ok so in my house it's me, my sister, mum and dad. Every afternoon I play battlefield 4 multiplayer and my siblings or parents are always on the Internet. Now the problem is that on my PC I am using wireless, so is my parents. When I play my multiplayer, on every other device connected the Internet is slowed down ALOT. Our ISPS is Telstra and the modem that was given to us from telstra to use is the Telstra technicolor TG797nV3. Will upgrading this modem allow me to play the game, my parents to use the Internet at full speed. I'm in Australia and if the problem is bandwidth what modem should I buy.

what are your speeds that you're paying for and what are the speeds you and your family are recieving?

An upgrade may help, yes, but only if the service provider is delivering a decently fast internet service.

Sorry, but what I'm saying is when im playing my PC everything else is slow, but will upgrading give me more bandwidth and increase THEIR speed. And I'm not sure what there speed is but I can tell you my speed form my iPad im using now

Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and do a speed test, post your results.

Down is 2.75Mbps and up is 0.18Mbps

When playing I use up a lot of the bandwidth but will upgrading give my family more speed and bandwidth
