Lean how to use scratch, python, etc, make an AirPlay receiver (assuming you have an apple device), make python scripts to run in Minecraft, set up a breadboard and, for example, code a button press to equal a sound playback, make a media center with Raspbmc or Openelec, etc...

There's a ton more, I just can't list them all out.  However, the Raspberry Pi foundation website has quite a few fun projects to build and code: http://www.raspberrypi.org/resources/

Hope this helps!

There are a fair few sites out there with loads of ideas. Some are much more complicated than other and some require extra parts. There was one that I saw of one being used to remotely control the heating in someone's house.

You could do something like setup XBMC on it and use it as a very small music/media PC.

I turned my pi into a mobile pen testing rig with the addition of an adafruit TFT screen and a TP-Link USB antenna.  Look on adafruit.com for some inspiration and supplies, they have some pretty cool stuff there :)

Want a good game to play?  Check out Shadowrun: http://store.steampowered.com/app/300550/ (runs on literally any hardware)
