Ohh sweet stuff :D

Depends if you plan to do anything other than game on it. Any content creation or anything like that?

Nawww, gaming only :3

But if I plan to upgrade it anytime soon, should I get Intel CPU's ? Since AMD has nothing new to offer for this time 'round :S

I5 4460 is decent

Adding a couple more bucks for the 4690k would be better I guess :3

Would the MSI Z97 Gaming MOBO be better ? I just like the design better and they cost nearly the same at my place :S

CPU : AMD FX-6300

Motherboard : MSI 970 Gaming

Graphics : AMD R7 270x

Would this be enough for max settings at mid-end games like Ghost Recon : Phantoms or even LoL or Dota 2 ? :3

I rarely play high end games though :S

The CPU is enough probably the GPU too for the games you play, but for 850 dollar you can buy a decent gaming rig with a better GPU and CPU.

Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($62.99 @ Amazon)

Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($64.99 @ Micro Center)

You don't have to get a 4690k with a Z97 for OCing. a 4460 with a H97 board is fine and will do great with a 280 GPU and is able to run Dota2 and Lol on max with 60+ fps at all times for sure and probably runs ghost recon on high easily. This machine will also let you play newer games without a problem. The FX-6300 is just slowly getting outdated and while fine on a budget build for 850 you can get better. The build @xvantok is also good just change the SSD to the MX100 128Gb it is better then the Intel 520 performance wise and the 40-60 dollar more for a 280X is also kinda waste.

Nice build :D

I'm not planning on OCing anyways so this seems really good for me :3

And if I am to swap out the Mobo for a MSI H97 Gaming 3 , would it still be the same ? I like the red colour theme more >_<

And any Radeon R9 series would be sufficient is it ?

Yeah the Gaming 3 will be fine too and yeah you can go for a R9 270 too if you don't care about future games at all or not about playing them on high settings. A 270 will save you about another 50 dollars.
