Between the general slowness, lack of any meaningful updates and the crash that just experienced that wiped out my three dozen open tabs, I am sick and tired of Mozilla and Firefox in its current state. Perhaps Firefox will get better one day but I am not going to wait for that day using it. Does Waterfox really make a difference what with the 64bitness of t all like they claim? Should I switch to that?

Don't recommend me Chrome. I would rather use IE than Chrome.

I would. With 4GB, it's a start, but it still hogs ram like vcrazy.

Got 16.

I wouldn't really think that it makes a difference unless you're a tab whore (which I'm not, that's why I use Chrome).

I do open a lot of tabs.

I've replaced firefox with waterfox. Being a tab whore as WinNut put it, it makes a huge difference and it is generally a lot more stable than firefox. I've not had waterfox crash on me in the last few months of using it and I usually have about 300 tabs open in tab groups.

Not really. I'm a tab whore, and plain old Firefox is fine for me.

Hey, I just installed it and it even got my profile without me having to do anything. How nice of them. I'll give it a shot. I'll see how Firefox is doing after it gets 2-3 updates.

Sorry to thread hijack, but I too am getting fed up with Firefox's instability. Does Waterfox do as good a job with searching in the URL bar? For example, I could close the tab opened on this thread, but then start typing in a key word from this thread's title to search for it again. (I'm probably describing this poorly...)

Wait, it already got your profile? Oh yeah, because it's basically a lighter version of Firefox.

As he said, it's the same function-wise. It's only different underneath. However Firefox does it, this one does it.

I got a question now. Can I install 64-bit Flash to Waterfox?
