It's just for aesthetics. It's a stupid thing if you ask me, LEDs are only good if they're done right and 99% of the time they aren't.

They are just generic RGB LEDs. You can find them on Amazon, eBay, all over the price. However these generic Chinese ones generally aren't that great. Get decent single-color LEDs that match your build's color scheme rather then crappy RGB ones.

They're lights. They turn on and look cool. If they die then I get new ones. They're extremely cheap. I'm not getting single-color LEDs because when I get sick of that color, I'm stuck.
