After 3 months of changing my entire setup, it's done. Ordered all the parts accept the PSU & the HDD. (Not enough money for an SSD Sadly)

Looks pretty good to me. Can't really speak as to the graphics card as I've only ever owned nvidia. Was going to say you might be able to get away with a smaller PSU but that's been addressed.

This build would generally cost over $700 but thanks to deals and Ebay i'm getting it less than $500

Nice!

It might not look like it but my rig (in my sig.) is my attempt at a long term budget build. I got my processor and motherboard for about the price of a new i7. The Xonar was too good a price to turn down.

Two things:

If this is a gaming build, an i3 would have been MUCH better.

That motherboard might give you problems.  It is the LE version, so it has weak VRM phases, that are not heat sinked.  Even at stock, I highly recommend buying a mini fan and aiming it directly at the VRMs.

1. I'm aware about the i3. I've been told 100 times. I'm choosing AMD for the reason everyone else does, they have a budget. Plus, i bought the CPU before anyone told me.

s

2. I honestly regret my decision of this mobo now. Would've chosen this one if i had the chance. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128651&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

This is my first build and my screen is Displayport.. i have no idea how i'm going to use it since it doesn't have the port. Can anyone help?

An i3 costs the same as an FX6.  You can't just compare price of processor.  With AM3+, you need extensive VRM phase design otherwise you will run into throttling problems.  This is when you need a higher end and more expensive motherboard, which bridges the gap between Intel and AMD.  You may very well experience this with the LE version of that motherboard, leave your side panel off and put a fan directly in front of your VRMs to try and avoid this.  Otherwise, you will need to be a new motherboard that costs $70+

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Xn4RK8

Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Xn4RK8/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($106.75 @ OutletPC)

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($55.97 @ OutletPC) <-- There are even $30 motherboards that will work, but only have 2 DIMMs, which is really all you need.

Total: $162.72

For display port, you will need an adapter of some sort.

Thank you for telling me the things i've ALREADY HEARD 1,0000 TIMES. THANK YOUUUUUU.

You're absolutely no help AT ALL for telling me information i already told you i knew about. People go with AMD because the Intel CPUs they want are too expensive. (The ones they want, not the ones they need or should go with.)
