Playing music through 2 outputs

callum.mcconnell

A bit of an odd one but is it possible to play music as background noise coming out of my speakers and then game audio through my headphones. So rear io for headphones and front io for speakers?? I ask because I often have guests round to play games and I normally provide background music But that means I sacrifice the games sound so not to confuse them with my game (Also I like to sound whore so I can hear them coming)

yes you can, just change the output source on the game to your headphones if it allows it.

But what if the game does not support that function?

Then you join the rest of us that would like to do the same, and make do by plugging in our portable decives to our speakers.
