Tearing happens. Enable vsync to help prevent it.

Yeah tearing sucks. G sync and free sync fix it (but be prepared to pay the premium) or a higher refresh rate monitor can also cut it down (it doesn't fix it, it just makes it less noticeable to some extent and if you run v sync with a higher refresh rate monitor you also get less lag).

Although the number of games that take excessive amounts of tweaking just to have vsync on and at a refresh rate above 60 is stupid, so I understand people leaving it off.
