So my frobt panel headphone and Mic dont work. So i have s asus z97a mobo and i was wondering if the back of the mobo has audio and mic??

 

yes the back always has audio and mic

 

 

is the front panel connected?

There should be 3/4 sets of wires coming from the front of your case, one set is the Front panel header for switches and LEDs, the other 2/3 are for Front Panel Audio and USB 2.0/3/0 (depending on your case)

 

ASUS mobos come with handy header risers that allow you to plug in all your front panel stuff easily

I cant open my case.... But ill use the back... You kniw what color thry are doe

Colors are standardized, as far as I know: pink=Mic In, green=headphones
