single kit work in dual?

I plan on having 16 GB of corsair vengeance by a dual modules. I have purchased a single kit. Will it still work with another single kit module?

Another stick with the same latency, speed and voltage, yes.

NOTE: It might not be the most stable through memory stressing tests (kits are made with sticks that are fully compatible with one another, so it is always recommended to get the right kit from the start).

A single kit of 16 or 8? Are you trying to have 16 or 32? Also it will work but make sure you get the exact same model of ram as the kit you already have.

It will work but you might run into stability issues.  I did the same thing with vengeance in the past exact same specs between kits and I ran into stability issues.  Switched to a 4 pack kit and issues were gone.  It's always recommended to buy a 4 pack when running 4 sticks.
