Need mousepad for Razer Deathadder

MountainPro

Hi everyone, so I have been using an old crappy and thin office mouse pad with my deathadder, for almost 4 months. I am looking to get a mouse pad that will work great with the Deathadder and would feel great and be great for gaming?

Budget goes up to $50 but I expect to spend around 20

Thank you,

Josh

I use an X-Trac Pad. They usually come in large, larger, and frickin' huge sizes...

I have a large one. It's like 14 inches across. Cloth topped.

My Deathadder loves it.

I have a Steelseries mouse pad that I just bought today from Best Buy for my Naga after not having a mouse pad for about four years. My performance in CS:GO decreased quite a bit actually, but after a little bit of negative reinforcement from my teammates I almost ended with a positive K/D in a competitive match.

It'll take some getting use to, but so far it's worked well for me I suppose. It's got like 12" x 10" dimensions or something so I definitely have enough real estate, and the surface seems good enough.

Do you know how it would work with the Deathadder and if it would be a good option if I am coming for a 9X7in mouse pad ahah

Is there any issues with the optical sensor with the cloth? sorry but I am not very familiar with mouse pads.

I would assume so. Hell, that Amazon link has really huge dimensions so it should be good.

There shouldn't be. I'm taking a shot in the dark here because I'm no mouse pad expert either, but if your optical sensor is working fine with whatever surface you're using now, then it should be fine (or possibly better) with the cloth mousepad.

Nope. I've never had an issue. My Deathadder actually has a harder time with the wood-grain pattern on my desk if I don't use a mousepad, but the pad I use is silky smooth.

They're pretty decent pads, imo.

cloth is what you need for optical since it's consistant. any orther surface can have more imperfections or be too smooth.
