First ever built PC wont start

Hello!

A few hours ago i bought parts to build a PC all for myself. and after putting it all together i tired to boot it. but i got nothing, just a tiny lamp on my motherborad that was litt up.  

No fans spinning, no sound whatsoever. i cant for the life of me figure out why it wont boot.

 

ive double checked almost everything and i still hace no clue. one thing i mmight add is that the front LED of my case lights up for a fraction of a secound when i press the power button.

Can you describe your pc hardware to see if everything should be able to work?

i forgot the cpu plug in the top corner and it did that... then forgot the gpu plug and it also did something like that >.> make sure its plugged in correctly

CAse closed.. so apparently i borrowed one cord (the exact same kind but 10cm longer) from my brother and for some reason, it didnt want to work.. i just changed it... even tho the cable is pretty stretched and is almost pulling a little on my graphics card.  so it works now..
